What would you say if I said, “Love will save the world”? If I said, “Lovelessness is the mother of all this evil”…
You bring a baby into the world, and from the way you look at them, your frowns, your touch, your unease or your happiness, they build a belief about themselves and the world.
- “I am worthy”
- “I am worthless”
- “I am worthy of love, or I am not”
- “I am unwanted”
- “The world is a dangerous place”…
These beliefs are largely formed by the age of 6-7, but they continue to develop and take shape to some extent throughout life.
Why am I saying this?
Someone who has never learned what love is and what it is not goes through life loving neither themselves nor other people, animals or nature.
Someone who does not know what love is and what it is not cannot be a good enough parent.
They do not understand harm or put another person’s well-being first.
They do not know what it means to contribute to society or humanity. Because they do not know how to love; they have never learned.
There is so much to say, but when ears are deaf, you cannot make someone hear what they do not want to hear.
Everyone whose life I touch is full of trauma passed down through generations, and I think lovelessness is the greatest challenge of this age today.
In a Turkey gripped by madness and a century of postmodern moral decay, people need to be taught how to love again. Only then can a parent teach their child what love is, how not to cause harm, how to protect, how to have a backbone, right and wrong, conscience, justice, how to think of others, not to steal, and sound morals.
